Can't speak 4 that specific show, but studios generally cut corners to crap out the scenes as fast as possible while a show is airing, and often go back to re-draw/touch things up for the home release - so it's generally better to get the latterPlus u almost always get higher quality visuals and audio, no announcements or TV channel logo written over the screen, etc.
